Working with

I work as a senior lecturer in applied mathematics and have a research education in Solid Mechanics from Chalmers. At Chalmers I worked within CHARMEC (CHAlmers Railway MEChanics), a Competence Centre with several industrial partners. Both before and after my research education I have been working with numerical simulations (mainly simulations using the Finite Element Method) for a consultancy company working with applications in e.g. automotive and space industry. In addition, I have also ten years of experience as a high school teacher, teaching both young and adult students.

I am involved as a teaching assistant in the physics courses for the Foundation Year (Tekniskt Basår). I also work as a teaching assistant in some basic math courses including calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, probability theory, combinatorics and basic statistics. In addition I am responsible for a course in Mechanics and Solid mechanics. I enjoy using digital tools (e. g. VPython, Matlab, Mathematica) to facilitate and simplify numerical and analytical calculations in the courses I teach.

I work part-time (60%) at Halmstad University and spend the rest of my working time with agricultural and forestry work at home at the farm Björshult and its neighbourhood.
