Seminar series on information-driven care
Welcome to the seminar series on information-driven care – advancing AI, innovation and implementation sciences. Every month in the autumn of 2025, we will bring together researchers at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare innovation, business model innovation and implementation science to explore how data and technology can transform the delivery of care.
As the healthcare landscape becomes increasingly data-rich, the role of AI in driving actionable insights, ethical decision-making, and equitable care has never been more critical. Together, we will delve into cutting-edge research, discuss challenges such as data bias, ethics, data-driven business models, and regulatory and implementation constraints, and explore how innovative approaches can bridge the gap between theory and practice.
This series aims to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration, spark ideas and equip researchers with the tools to design and implement AI solutions that are not only groundbreaking but also trustworthy, sustainable, and impactful in real-world settings.
The objectives of the seminar series are:
- Knowledge sharing: Provide PhD students and researchers at three schools (ITE, FIH, and HOV) with an in-depth understanding of information-driven care and its applications.
- Networking: Create a platform for us within diverse disciplines to connect and collaborate.
- Skill development: Share among attendees the tools and methodologies to explore data-driven business models and data-driven implementation strategies in healthcare.
Themes and format
The seminars are held in English, and the format for the series is a combination of paper discussions, interactive workshops, and project/research presentations.
The seminars will be offered in hybrid mode to ensure accessibility for both in-person and virtual participants. The seminars will last for 1.5 hours on the last Wednesday of each month from 11.30 to 13.00.
The seminar will follow a brown-bag lunch style, so feel free to bring your lunch as we dive into the discussion.
