School of Information Technology
I am associate professor in computer science at the school of information technology (ITE). I have a PhD in computer science from 1997 from Chalmers. My interests are related to programming languages and formal methods for testing.
I have participated in research about implementing in parallel processors programming languages that can express parallellism.
The courses I teach are:
Programming, an introduction course using Java for first year engineering students.
Python, a gateway to machine learning, for masters students. The course is about techniques for designing algorithms (divide and conquer, greedy, dynamic programming), dynamic data structures (hash tables, binary search trees) and libraries for linear algebra and for tabular data.
I also help teaching testing and verification of embedded systems and advanced object oriented programming
