Working with

I work as an adjunct senior lecturer in health sciences at the Department of Health and Care. I hold a PhD in Health and Lifestyle and defended my thesis in 2024, titled "Multiple Perspectives on Health Promotion in Individuals with Knee Pain."

My research focuses on health promotion and disease prevention, particularly chronic pain and knee osteoarthritis. Central to my work is health literacy – studying how individuals find, understand and use health information, and how healthcare organisations can make information more accessible.

I am part of several research networks, including the Swedish Health Literacy Network (SHN) and the WHO (Europe) Action Network on Measuring Population and Organisational Health Literacy (M-POHL).
