My research focuses on the following areas:
- place and destination marketing and branding, tourism marketing;
- social media marketing in tourism and place marketing, and
- marketing in wine sector in Sweden.
My PhD research has been focused on marketing-oriented management in retail, as well as marketing communication in retail.
I am a reviewer for a few peer-review journals in Business administration and Place marketing field, e.g., “Place Branding and Public Diplomacy” (Palgrave Macmillan), “Journal of Place Management and Development” (Emerald), “Journal of Strategic Marketing” (Taylor&Francis), “Competitiveness Review” (Emerald), “Technological Forecasting and Social Change” (Elsevier), “International Journal of Managerial and Financial Accounting” (Inderscience publishers).
