Dr Nina Bergdahl is a Senior Associate Lecturer in the field of learning in the digitalised society. She is a distinguished academic deeply immersed in student engagement dynamics across online and physical spaces. Dr Bergdahl is active in the research program Learning in a Digitalised Society and conducts research on emerging technologies across educational levels, such as robots, Artificial Intelligence, and digital learning environments. She teaches in the pre-service teacher program, the master’s program on Digital Learning, and stand-alone courses, such as Teaching Artificial Intelligence at the high school level – a Societal Perspective. Nina is also the author of the book Designs for Engaged Learning (Design för engagerat lärande) (Bergdahl & Chireh, 2023), in which she provides a practical, step-by-step guide for developing engaging learning designs tailored to blended and online learning environments.
