The research group for evidence-based natural therapeutic health interventions (ENTHI)
The research group is developing knowledge about nature- and animal-assisted interventions for health, learning and recovery from mental health issues. Through research and collaboration, the group contributes to more equitable and health-promoting developments in healthcare, education and social care.
The research group aims to:
- further develop a multidisciplinary research environment in the field of nature- and animal-assisted interventions for health, learning and recovery for people of all ages with mental health issues. A research environment that promotes development within the field, with a focus on equality and equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or level of ability.
- develop long-term national and international collaborations with universities, businesses and the public sector in the field of nature- and animal-assisted innovations to strengthen health-promoting and recovery-oriented healthcare, education and social care.
- contribute valuable knowledge to society through strong research, education and collaboration. A research group that addresses research questions from multidisciplinary perspectives, generating a knowledge base that serves as a foundation for continued research and education, and contributes to deeper understanding, new knowledge and development in society.
