Health and Lifestyle II

The overall objective of the course is for the doctoral student to use an interdisciplinary perspective to acquire in-depth knowledge in the area of human health and lifestyle from an individual, group, organisational and societal perspective. Further, the objective is to develop the student's ability to critically and independently problematize, synthesize and thus generate new knowledge in the field of health and lifestyle. One additional course objective is for the doctoral student to demonstrate awareness of challenges and dilemmas related to health and lifestyle from a perspective of social sustainability and global ethics. The course also focuses on research and aims to provide a basic understanding of frontier research in the Health and Lifestyle field.
