Millimeter-wave Graphene Enabled Wireless Communication

The goal of the project is to evaluate whether graphene has the potential to compete with commonly used electrically conductive materials, and to try to raise the tolerance compared to today's used PCBs and obtain high tolerance and low cost.

This is a proof-of-concept project that is delving into using cutting edge technology developments for benefit to real-world applications. The goal of the project is to evaluate whether graphene has the potential to compete with commonly used electrically conductive materials such as copper, gold, aluminium and silver with substrates such as PCBs and glass, etc.

The idea is to try to raise the tolerance compared to today's used PCBs and obtain high tolerance and low cost. For example, thin film has good tolerances, but is very expensive to manufacture. The project will include literature studies, design of test circuits, measurement of these and summary and report writing of the results.
