Critical Design and Practical Ethics for AI
The courses is for professionals and part of the programme MAISTR (hh.se/maistr) where participants can study the entire programme or individual courses. The course is part of the course track human-centered design and is held online in English.
The course deals with different perspectives on AI and its real and potential effect on organisations and society. The course is based on five different perspectives on AI: accountability, surveillance capitalism, power and bias, sustainability, and trust. Continuous critical reflection is performed based on the course literature. Active discussions founded in different ethical perspectives are an important part of the course

Entry requirements:
Degree of Bachelor or Degree of Bachelor of Science in Engineering. The degree must be equivalent to a Swedish kandidatexamen or Swedish högskoleingenjörsexamen and must have been awarded from an internationally recognised university. English 6. Exemption of the requirement in Swedish is granted.
