Design and Visualization

7,5 credits

Solid Modelling
CAD methodology, reference elements, solid modelling, assembly modelling, parameterisation and drawing production included; view creation, detail and assembly drawings, dimension and tolerance measurement, surface smoothness, shape and position tolerances, welding symbols. The student must be trained in project work individually where problem solving is supported by powerful software packages in a modern computer environment. Create and link different parameters, publications and reference geometry to create sustainable designs. The course also includes an introduction to visualization (rendering and animation).

Surface modeling
Single and double curved surfaces, hybrid design and integration of surfaces with solid geometry.
Analysis of geometry with respect to continuity conditions and release angles.
Introduction to Keyshot.

Visualization
Introduction to Keyshot; photorealistic renderings and animations of produced geometric models.
