Machine learning for safer and smarter truck transportation
By using large amounts of truck data, both on how they are operated and maintained, the CAISR+ Predictive Maintenance and Machine Learning project group managed to predict upcoming turbocharger breakdowns about three months in advance. In the project, machine learning algorithms with disentanglement, domain adaptation and survivability were used.
Watch the film where researchers from Halmstad University and partners from Volvo Group talk about the successful project.
The project is part of the CAISR+ project with funding from the Knowledge Foundation. The project is a cooperation between Halmstad University and AB Volvo.
