Prayag Tiwari (SMIEEE) is an Associate Professor at Halmstad University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Padova, Italy. He has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, Finland, and as a Marie Curie Researcher at the University of Padova, Italy. Dr. Tiwari received the 2022 Best Paper Award for a publication in Neural Networks and has been recognized for having multiple Highly Cited Papers in various journals. He has numerous publications in top-tier journals and conferences, including TMLR, IJCV, TNNLS, AAAI, ACL, CIKM, ICASSP, ECIR, ECML. His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Healthcare, Bioinformatics, NLP/LLM, Computer Vision, Multimodal Learning, and Intelligent Systems. Additionally, Dr. Tiwari serves as an editor for journals such such as Neural Networks and IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems.
