Prayag Tiwari is an Associate Professor at Halmstad University. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Padova, Italy. He has previously worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aalto University, Finland, and as a Marie Curie Researcher at the University of Padova, Italy. Dr. Tiwari received the 2022 Best Paper Award for a publication in Neural Networks and has been recognized for having multiple Highly Cited Papers in various journals. He has numerous publications in top-tier journals and conferences, including Nature Communications, NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ICLR, AAAI, ACL, TMLR, IJCV, PAMI, ACM MM, WWW, CIKM, ECML. His research interests span Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Healthcare, Bioinformatics, NLP/LLM, Computer Vision, Multimodal Learning, and Intelligent Systems. Additionally, Dr. Tiwari serves as an editor for journals such such as TMLR, Neural Networks and IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems.
