I am a researcher at Halmstad University and associate researcher at the École des hautes en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris. My research areas are political theory and history of political thought. In my ongoing project, I concentrate on contemporary debates concerning human rights, equality and the role of the territorial state, focusing in particular on French political thought. I am particularly interested in three thinkers: Claude Lefort, Marcel Gauchet and Pierre Manent. In addition to my main project, I write about the historical turn in human rights. Together with two colleagues I am also the editor of an anthology on ideology critique. In my dissertation, The Aporia of Equality (2018), I analyze the transformations of educational system in Sweden during the post-war period. I have continued to take an interest in educational issues after my doctoral thesis. After my defense, I have written about the notion of Bildung and I am currently working on a contribution to a special issue on equality and education for one of Germany's leading educational theory journals, Zeitschrift für Pädagogik.
