Accessibility

At Halmstad University, we strive to make our website accessible to as many people as possible regardless of prerequisites.

Guidelines – WCAG 2.1

Guidelines for how information and services can be designed to make websites accessible have been produced by WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative, a task force within W3C, World Wide Web Consortium). The EU member states have agreed that public websites must follow these guidelines. The current WAI guidelines are WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1). The process of making the website as good as possible from an accessibility point of view is a continual process.
