Exercise as Medicine
This course follows up on the previous master course (Human Performance – limitations and improving), with further emphasis on your ability to independently integrate acquired knowledge into the link between physical activity and health, and the effects of exercise to maintain healthiness during various medical conditions.
The course includes lectures and seminars on campus and on the web. In addition, you will perform small projects, where you will go deeper into certain topics and present and discuss scientific reports from resent research within the field of exercise as medicine.
Anatomy and physiology 15 credits, Exercise Training 7,5 credits and Bachelor of Science with a major in Exercise Biomedicine, Biomedicine, Physiotherapy, or Sports Science. Applicants must have written and verbal command of the English language equivalent to English course 6 in Swedish Upper-Secondary School.
