The main field of construction engineering with specialisation in renewable energy. Furthermore, the course addresses theory, empirics, scientific quality, and the process of research. The different practical elements within scientific work such as identifying problem and formulating the research question, design, literature search, referencing, analysis, and constructive criticism are part of the course.

Entry requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Building Technology, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent. The degree must be equivalent to a Swedish högskoleingenjörsexamen and must have been awarded from an internationally recognised university. English 6. Exemption of the requirement in Swedish is granted.
