Doctoral Forum 2026 - The first joint forum at Halmstad University

Welcome to the very first joint Halmstad University Doctoral Forum for all of our doctoral students, on the theme: How can we co-create a thriving doctoral study environment?

The questions at the heart of this gathering are not ones that can be answered from the outside: they live in your experiences, your perspectives and your everyday realities as doctoral students.

How can we, together, create a stimulating and supportive doctoral environment? What kind of culture do we want to foster? How do we want to work with one another, develop our competencies together, and support each other’s growth and well-being?

All doctoral students at Halmstad University are invited to share their perspectives, experiences, and ideas, as well as their challenges, needs, and opportunities, with each other and with invited representatives from University management.

Together, we will co-create practical ideas and insights to help build a more engaging, inclusive, and thriving doctoral community.

Join us in an open, collaborative dialogue where your perspective is the starting point and the driving force behind meaningful change.
