Ross James Friel's main research focuses on advanced materials and digital manufacturing processes to bring about new engineering capabilities in electronics, composites, sensors, and devices. This is primarily achieved through exploration and boundary-pushing of 3D Printing, Additive and Hybrid Manufacturing techniques applied to new areas of scientific and engineering innovation.
