About the education
Innovative environments, methods and tools
The education at Halmstad University is characterised by our profiling as a university that drives innovation. Here you have access to modern study environments and a future-oriented education.
Courses and competencies in focus
The Master’s programme in Strategic Entrepreneurship for International Growth deepens and broadens your knowledge of strategy, marketing, entrepreneurship, innovation, internationalisation, growth and sustainable development etc. You also train your ability to solve the kind of problems that may arise during a company's development.
During the first year of the programme, you can take either International marketing or Strategic management. In the second year, you further deepen your knowledge of strategy and entrepreneurship, two key concepts in a modern company. You will develop your analytical and strategic thinking through both theoretical understanding and practical application.
The programme is conducted in English.
Specialise with elective courses
If you specialise in international marketing, you work on analysing opportunities and limitations on the international market. This means knowledge of both cultural and business strategy conditions, which increases your skills and ability to act professionally with future international contacts.
If you specialise in strategy, you instead work on understanding and managing business development and change processes from a management perspective. This may include internal changes in the organisation in connection with the company's growth, as well as changes in the business environment, in line with the industry's development and increasing economic globalisation. Strategic thinking is of central importance for all management.
